I think Adrian Grenier my be an Angel. We know him best as an actor/film maker – particularly as Vinny Chase from the hit series Entourage but Adrian is also a philanthropist and prolific entreprenuer. Passionate about the environment and green living, Adrian along with Producer Peter Glatzer co-founded SHFT a green-eco lifestyle website promoting sustainability through video, design, art and culture. His philosophy embraces the idea that consumers have the power to make change. Changing the world one beautiful object at a time.
He is passionate about music. He plays several instruments, piano, guitar, french- horns and of course drums. While he was renovating his Clinton Hill Brownstone he had a recording studio built in the basement initially to create a place for his friends and fellow musicians to hang out and jam. This organically led to his music projectWreckroom-what Adrian describes as an incubator -using his studio to give up and coming bands the opportunity to write and record songs, make videos and then help put them out into the world. A Grammy winner no doubt is incubating in Brooklyn. The pride and joy he took in playing me some of his artists’ latest music. One of his Wreckroom bands The Skins are generating a lot of buzz!
He lives out his passions and wants to share it with the rest of us! Did I mention he was a foodie? Heading to a new city and want to find the local organic Farmer’s Market? Look no further! Adrian has created an app called Food Tripping helping consumers discover healthy, sustainable food options near you or in the place you’re traveling to. Honestly-I don’t know how I lived without it! He has also-if you can believe it co-founded a beer company called Churchkey.
Hell bent on changing the world through music, food, documentary film making, acting and sustainable living. Oh…he’s also mad about chess! Well…he certainly looks like an angel and I bet if you look closely enough-you just might see his wings.
